I am in a constant search for easy, on-the-go and also unprocessed bars. I love Larabars, but I also am loving these babies. I first tried these at Whole Foods and then rekindled my love for them when I found them in a convenience store walking distance from my office.
That’s It bars are simply made of a few ingredients and…that’s it! 🙂 These are high in sugar, much like Larabars and fruit in general are, but there is no additional sugar added. Their website has some other flavors that sound delicious as well. I want to get my hands on the Apple + Pineapple bar! YUM! As an aside, I am having the worst time bouncing back from my birthday weekend. Stress from work is back, I’m exhausted and having a really hard time waking up for my 6am WOD, my stomach hates me, and (my favorite) my face is a wreck and is breaking out in the worst way. Luckily, I’ve been cooking a lot since Monday and my nutrition is on track. I have always found that keeping my nutrition in check even when I’m having a rough time getting myself motivated for my workouts is sometimes enough. My breakfast option this morning (in addition to my delicious Barnie’s Coffee) was Asparagus, Swiss chard, Spinach, Arugula, and Onion Scramble with Kale Sprouts and Sauerkraut. It was really good and perfect for my stomach alongside my probiotic and fish oil supplement.
